In the mining, quarry, demolition, and recycling industries, crushing work is always necessary for breaking up big raw materials into small ones. Based on the physical properties of raw materials, customer requirements for production line capacity, product particle size and shape, customer investment and return analysis, and other factors, the production lines are divided into the following categories: granite crushing production line, limestone crushing production line, river pebble crushing production line, ceramic mine crushing production line, and metal mine crushing production line. In the following, I will make a brief introduction to these five classic crushing production lines for you.
1. Granite Crushing Production Line
The granite stone has high quartz content and low sulfide content, which is a good raw material for sand and gravel making. For different applications, the production line should have different crushing stages:
1) . Gravel Only: If customers need gravel only, the crushing production line should have three crushing stages: primary coarse crushing, second medium crushing, and tertiary fine crushing. The key process in this crushing line is the tertiary crushing that forms the final product sizes.
2) . Sand Only: When the customers want sand only, the crushing production line should have three crushing stages: primary coarse crushing, second medium crushing, and tertiary extreme fine crushing. The key step is the tertiary extreme fine crushing that produces the final sand sizes.
3) . Both Sand and Gravel: Those customers who are running a big crushing plant, usually request that the crushing production line can both produce aggregate and sand. Under this condition, the crushing production line should have these four steps: primary coarse crushing, second medium crushing, tertiary fine crushing, and quaternary extreme fine crushing.
2. Lime Stone Crushing Production Line
Limestone is widely distributed in nature and is easy to obtain. In the crushing production line, it can be used as a raw material for aggregate and sand at the same time, and the produced stone powder can also be reused. As for the design of crushing stages, it can also be divided into three different types which is the same as the granite stone production line.
3. River Pebble Crushing Production Line
River pebbles are a widely used sand-making material with good texture. They are a good substitute for natural sand in terms of strength, granulation, and color. Considering the river pebble can be used for producing both sand and gravel, its crushing production line also has three different types the same as granite stone crushing production line.
4. Ceramic Mine Crushing Production Line
The clay explored from the ceramic mine is mainly used for producing exterior walls, roof tiles, floor tiles, pottery, etc. Usually, the ceramic mine crushing production line has two different types: dry powder type, and dry powder plus washing material type.
1. Dry Powder Type: For this type of crushing production line, there should be three crushing stages: primary coarse crushing, second medium crushing, and tertiary extreme fine crushing.
2. Dry Powder Plus Washing Material: This kind of crushing production line produces two different types of final products. In this way, it requires these three crushing stages: primary coarse crushing, second medium crushing, and tertiary fine crushing.
5. Metal Mine Crushing Production Line
The metal mine has many different types: iron mine, copper mine, silver mine, gold mine, etc. The products from these metal mines are widely used in manufacturing the daily stuff in our lives. On those conventional metal mine sites, the crushing production line has four crushing stages: primary coarse crushing, second medium crushing, tertiary fine crushing, and final grinding. But in recent years, people have upgraded the conventional crushing design to five crushing stages: primary coarse crushing, second medium crushing, tertiary fine crushing, quaternary extreme fine crushing, and final grinding.
Ok, the above is all about the five classic types of crushing production lines around us. Till now, we primarily learned the design of crushing stages for these five crushing production lines. Based on this, we can start to choose the corresponding crushing and grinding equipment for our production line. In the following articles, I will introduce how to choose the most suitable crushing and grinding equipment for each crushing stage.
